Join our 4hr workshop, filled with fun and learning for you and your dog! SESSION 1: Sun 8th June 10.15 -12.15 SESSION 2: Sun 15th June 10.15-12.15 Are you looking for a low impact activity for your dog that offers mental stimulation? Would you like to learn fun skills that help strengthen your relationship with your dog AND support your basic obedience training? Then join our BARKING BONANZA, a charity event with dog trainer JANKA PENTHER and ringcraft judge JILL HODSON. Together, we will teach you all the skills you need to win the next dog show this summer, show you how you can train your dog whilst having fun AND invite you to the wonderful world of scent detection for pet dogs. Introduction to Ringcraft (Dog Showing) with Jill Jill has been showing her own dog Smudge successfully since 2021, their most recent success was a podium place at Crufts 2025! As a registered Kennel Club judge, Jill is passionate to share her knowledge, including the benefits of ringcraft skills, how to get into this friendly and supportive community, what judges look for (so you can bring home one of those pretty rosettes!) and teach you and your dog hands on the first few steps! Scent Detection Fun and Focus & Engagement Games with Janka Learn new skills together with your dog that will benefit you in your training, on your dog walks and your every day life with Fido! We will help you understand your dog, show you how you can elevate your rewards and play fun brain games with your dog! For Charity At Penthwell Dog Training we are passionate about supporting our community. All profits from this workshop will go to PURPLE ADVISORY CARE, a local non-for profit organisation who supports families with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Is this workshop for me? - This is a 4 hour workshop, hosted over 2 days (8th and 15th June from 10.15 -12.15pm) - Any breed welcome (please see our restrictions for banned breeds in our T&C's) - No previous ringcraft or scent detection knowledge is required, however, it is beneficial if your dog has an understanding of basic obedience. - This workshop is suitable for dogs from 4 months of age. - At times we will be working in a group so all dogs attending must be happy to be around other dogs & people. If you live with a reactive dog please just get in touch and we can discuss can support you. PLEASE NOTE BITCHES IN SEASON AND ANY DOGS THAT ARE UNWELL ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THE SESSIONS
